- The Swiss Society for ADHD (SFG ADHD) supports people with attention deficit hyperactivity/hypoactivity disorder (ADHD) and their environment through its non-profit activities by promoting cooperation and dialogue between various specialists and professional organizations and by informing the general public about all aspects of ADHD, based on scientifically sound knowledge from ongoing research and clinical practice.
In particular, the Swiss Society for ADHD supports: - Training, further education and continuing education measures in the field of ADHD for professionals and interested parties
- Public relations about ADHD in the media and through information events
- Cooperation with other associations that serve a similar purpose
- If possible, research in the field of ADHD
- Establishment of a knowledge pool and exchange center for experts and interested parties
- Establishing and maintaining contacts with authorities, politicians and other institutions
The organization adhs20+ promotes and supports the dissemination of information on ADHD in adulthood. It operates an ADHD contact point for adults and supports individual, personal, and sociopolitical concerns. Detailed information on the activities of adhs20+ can be found in the 2021 Annual Report .
ADHS20+ offers presentation/discussion forums and continuing education courses and manages a broad address database.
The ADHD organization umbrella organization elpos Switzerland brings together all elpos regional associations under one roof. Together, they developed a mission statement that includes the following key points and corresponds to the service agreement with the Federal Social Insurance Association (BSV).
Commitment: Since 1974, parents and professionals have been committed to the concerns of children, adolescents and adults with ADHD (GG 404).
The well-being of those affected is paramount: Those affected, their parents, and caregivers should be well informed about ADHD with and without hyperactivity / GG 404 and understand the importance of a serious and differentiated assessment. When choosing multimodal therapy, the patient's level of suffering is crucial, not sociopolitical opinion!
Goals:
- Value-neutral support and advice for those affected, their guardians and their support network for the benefit of those affected
- Providing well-founded and holistic information on ADHD (GG 404).
- Raising awareness among society and schools through public relations work.
- Creating better living conditions for those affected, their families and their environment.
The professional centers are open to anyone affected by the problem in any way. Counseling is free of charge.
Many years of experience and cooperation with specialists as well as the SFG ADHS ( www.sfg-adhs.ch ) enable a well-founded and up-to-date transfer of knowledge: This in the form of events, lectures, courses and the association's own specialist publications.
Numerous discussion groups exist throughout Switzerland, offering valuable support for parents and those affected. The Swiss elpos conference for those affected and interested parties and the national BEFA conference take place alternately each year. These are jointly organized by the Swiss Association for ADHD (SFG ADHS) and the ADHD umbrella organization elpos Switzerland.
Organization: The ADHD umbrella organization elpos Switzerland is financed through membership fees, services, and donations and is also supported by the Federal Social Insurance Office (FSIO) . The ADHD organization elpos is independent and neutral. The board members of the associations and the umbrella organization work on a voluntary basis.
Stefan Heidelberger is a certified ADHD coach and family counselor (Academia Euregio St. Gallen). He has lived with ADHD himself for 45 years ( diagnosed at 38). Heidelberger supports those affected in their daily lives through targeted, resource-oriented psychoeducation. His services also include ADHD counseling for HR professionals and companies.
As a learning therapist and certified ADHD coach (icp), Valérie Lehmann offers support for people with ADHD in training or at work. People with ADHD primarily express difficulties with self-management. In training, this means they struggle with work organization, learning motivation, prioritizing their learning tasks, and more. Valérie Lehmann offers various strategies for addressing these issues and reducing stress – through individual coaching and psychoeducation.
The FEBA Nutrition Center for ADHD is an association that has been dealing with the effects of food intolerances since 1985.
You will receive advice from Pascale Häni, a certified nutrition coach . She was a mother herself who successfully changed her family's diet using the FEBA (formerly known as AEV). Pascale Häni was a member of the FEBA board for many years and has been advising adults and/or families with behavioral problems since 2006.

The practice of psychologist Beni Kneubühler at Grossmünsterplatz 6,
8001 Zurich, has many years of experience in treating people with ADHD. She has been conducting group therapy for those affected by ADHD since 2014.
While studying psychology in Bern, Kneubühler gained experience in group therapy and with ADHD at the educational counseling center. He specializes in the treatment of ADHD in adults.
